This is a sketch of my sister Deb. I used vine charcoal on this one and it usually has a softer look and less defined. I like that sometimes. Also it is more delicate to work with and wipes off very easily. Pros and cons to that. The pros are you can erase down to the white paper easily for a while. You can't do that with pressed charcoal. The cons are it wipes off so easily it's very easy to smudge or smear a whole area and ruin it. So one must be very careful! I finished this one fairly quickly - maybe two or three sessions. I am happy with the results and my sister was thrilled. Enjoy!
